Alcohol Free Hand Sanitizer

image

It’s getting chilly outside, and my top priority this season is to happily enjoy all the festivities that fall and winter have to give! This means keeping myself and my family healthy, even on the go. Store bough hand sanitizer can be harsh, not to mention pricy, so I sought out to make my own! I love this recipe because:

  1. There’s no alcohol, so it’s less drying to the skin
  2. It just takes two ingredients. Simple is best, I always say
  3. You get to choose your scent

This is something to keep around the kitchen, car, and in your purse.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup pure Aloe Vera gel
  • 8 – 10 drops of your favorite antibacterial essential oil. Some great ones are clove, lavender, pine, lemon, lime, myrrh, and tea tree.

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix together and keep in an easily accessible squeeze bottle or pump

This hand sanitizer is nontoxic and moisturizing for the skin. Plus you need less of it than you would the commercial hand sanitizers, and it’s much cheaper to make! Being germ free doesn’t have to mean bringing chemicals into your life. Let’s be clean through and through!
