A Simple DIY Homemade Probiotic Lemonade for a Healthier You

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 10 lemons or limes (Mixture is also okay)
  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 3 quarts of filtered water

Directions:

Put the sugar into a gallon size glass jar and add enough hot water to dissolve the sugar.

Add the lemon/lime juice and then fill the jar with filtered water until 3/4 full.

Add the whey and cover the jar tightly, leave it for 2-3 days at room temperature.

Then keep it in fridge and drink it 2-3 times a day.

This homemade probiotic lemonade can last for a week in fridge;

If you want to sweeten the drink, add raw honey when drinking, and the combination of a little cayenne pepper powder is welcome if you prefer a spicy taste;
