Homemade Natural Neosporin: A perfect Anti-inflammatory, Anti-fungal, And Antibiotic Recipe

You’ve probably heard of Neosporin and you might even have some in your home already, but I want to share a healthier, all-natural, homemade Neosporin alternative!

This homemade ointment has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antibiotic elements that make it ideal for healing open wounds, rashes, burns and other skin irritations. One of the ingredients in store bought Neosporin is petroleum jelly, which has been shown to advance the aging of your skin, AND carcinogenic chemicals are required in its manufacturing process!

In fact, the EU has strict limitations on products that contain petroleum jelly, but the US has neglected to adhere to this standard, leaving its citizens open to a market full of harmful products… including Neosporin!

By making your own homemade Neosporin, you won’t be supporting the harmful manufacturing process, and you and your family can avoid the harsh chemicals and overload of antibiotics found in petroleum jelly.

Now without further ado, here’s the natural, homemade recipe you’ve been missing!

Here’s what you’ll need

– 3 cups of coconut oil
– 2 ½ tablespoons of organic, raw, comfrey leaves
– 2 ½ tablespoons of dried or raw plantain leaves
– 1 ½ tablespoons of calendula flowers
– 1 ½ teaspoons of organic Echinacea root
– 1 teaspoon of yarrow flower oil
– 1 teaspoon of organic, farm fresh beeswax
– ½ teaspoon of vitamin E oil

Put all the ingredients into your 3 cups of coconut oil and let sit on a low heated burner for about 2 hours (or until the mixture becomes green).

Once the mixture appears green, put it through a strainer and discard of the used herbs, leaves, and roots.

When the oil has been separated from the herbs, add the organic beeswax and return the mixture to low heat.

Once the mixture is a smooth, soft, waxy texture, pour it into a reusable bottle or reclosable jar. If you have an empty lip balm tube, you can pour some of the mixture in that; it makes for a great portable Neosporin applicator!

When you support and trust nature as your pharmacist, you can make all the necessary medicine you need! When you educate yourself on the abilities of plants and herbs, you can start trusting your own judgment, rather than listen to the voices of large corporations.

Johnson and Johnson is the corporation that owns Neosporin and they make millions of dollars each year off their sales of this antibiotic ointment because they convince consumers that it is their best option! Now you know the truth; that homemade, natural ointments are a much healthier, and cost effective alternative treatment!
