Green Detox Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup kale or spinach, chopped
- 1 apple, cored and chopped (peeled if not organic)
- ¼ cup parsley (or cilantro works as well or a mix)
- 1 large celery stalk, chopped
- ½ cucumber, peeled
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ½ – 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 to 1 ½ cup water (or green tea infused water)
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. If you don’t have a high speed blender, blend water, lemon juice and greens first, then add ginger, cucumber, celery, and apple.
