What is pneumonia?
Pneumonia is an infection of the tiny air sacs of the lungs caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites. Pneumonia comes in different forms and is caused primarily by bacteria or viruses, and less commonly by fungi and parasites.

Fresh carrot juice, spinach juice, beet juice, cucumber juice, and other vegetable juices are excellent for your health, especially when dealing with pneumonia. Boil one tablespoon of sesame seeds in a cup of water. Mix in one tablespoon of linseed (flaxseeds) and continue boiling. Strain the mixture and then add one teaspoon of honey and a pinch of salt. Drink this mixture once daily.
Lemon has anti-bacterial properties and is an excellent natural home remedy for pneumonia. Being rich in vitamin C, it reduces the body’s temperature and boosts the immunity. Either add lemon zest to your meal or just sprinkle some lemon juice on your salad.
Garlic kills the bacteria, viruses, and parasites that cause pneumonia. It contains allicin which is anti – bacterial and anti – viral helps to strengthen the immune system to fight off the illness. It also reduces phlegm in the lungs. Crush a garlic clove with a press to extract 1 teaspoon of juice. Mix the juice with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey.
