Liver detoxifying herbal tea

Ingredients (makes 5 cups)

Directions

Boil ginger and water for 1 minute. Remove from the heat. Add dandelion, milk thistle and cinnamon to a saucepan and pour the boiling water over the herbs, cover, and steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain the herbs from the liquid and add the remaining ingredients. Stir until combined.

Enjoy warm or cool in the fridge for a cleansing iced tea on a hot summer’s day. Do not add sugar, if you need to sweeten things up use stevia or raw honey.

Ginger: stimulates digestion, circulation, and sweating. Ginger aids the elimination of toxins and waste material from the colon, liver, kidneys, and other organs.
